Tereza Kesovija is a Croatian singer with international acclaim. Her career has taken her from Yugoslavia, the USSR, Japan, Egypt, Mexico and the United States. She has also had significant success in France.

Tereza is the only Croatian singer who has performed in Paris’ Olympiahall. Not only has she performed there, but she has done it several times. France also awarded her the Knighthood of High Decoration of Arts and Culture.

Her musical career has produced albums in 9 different languages such as Croatian, French, Slovenian, Russian, Italian, Spanish, German, English, and Portuguese. A recent poll by the Croatian daily newspaper Vecernji list named her the most popular Croatian singer of the 20th century.
